Hey there, 26 year old TV junkie, podcaster, and aspiring screenwriter here. I graduated from Connecticut College with a degree in Film Studies and I love watching TV almost as much as I love criticizing it. My favorite shows include Buffy, The 100, Doctor Who, LOST, Jessica Jones, Breaking Bad, and so many more. Podcasting has been a passion of mine for over 7 years and I've covered a wide variety of (what I'd consider) guilty pleasure TV. This includes everything from Glee to MTV's Scream, to Girl Meets World. I love diving deep into a show, dissecting its storytelling, and commenting on the social and representational messages it provides. The 100 Podcast

Having watched the episode first time I was very disappointed because the creators referred to many plies from the previous episodes. On the one hand, it was linked to the time when Hope was left alone and enjoyed the education of a prisoner for ten years; which she then tragically lost. On the other hand they showed the time with her, Echo and Gabriel and their escape. Another story line was exploration of the helmet in Sanctum after Raven prevented entire Sanctum from the melting of the reactor. Then the use of the wormhole after overpowering the intruders and the shutdown of the wormhole generator was shown. Watching the episode a second time I was able to connect individual story lines together and I found the episode more than successful.
Many questions remain unanswered. Where did Echo, Hope, and Gabriel fled to? What happened to the landing party? What happened to Gaia and the attacker who turned off the wormhole generator?
Echo became aware of the danger that the appropriation of the suits and Hope’s self-defense has been set up a process which will result in their persecution without doing anything against it. Therefore, the traces had to be blurred by the killing of all witnesses. She acted militarily, in the old structures that the clans used to follow earlier. It was her socialization and experience with Wonkru (the decision of “are you Wonkru or the enemy of Wonkru”) that she was catching up with here.
The quality of the background music should indicate the importance of the scenes. When educating Hope, the important thing was that she trusted a stranger, build up a relationship to him by healing him, and learned and failed in the craft of fighting when she should have to use it. And at the very beginning, the daily hope for the return of Dyoza and Auntie O was in the foreground. In my opinion, dialogues were unnecessary, disturbing, and disruptive in all this cases. I think it was used as a stylistic device.
Jordan’s attitude is very significant; as the son of Monty and his upbringing in a very sheltered environment, I would have expected a different reaction. He lacked the experience that Monty and Jasper had had during Primfya. Is Jasper right that men are the greatest evil in the world? Jordan seemed to support this thesis because he grew up in an isolated world in Rousseua’s sense and he acted in the spirit Jasper coukd not tolerate and comitted suicide.
I am not that sure, that Murphy will die. He is a cockroach, and he will find a way out of a dangerous situation.
